Sofia is from Oakland, California and is starting her first year with Cascade Raft & Kayak. Sofia lived the past few years in Plumas County, where she received an associates degree in Outdoor Recreational Leadership, from Feather River College. There she became a certified white water rafting guide, and rock climbing instructor. Sofia has spent some of the best days of her life on the river and loves to share the joy of rafting with others. She has worked as a lifeguard and program lead at a kids summer camp for the past two years. Now she is currently attending Cal Poly Humboldt and will graduate Spring 2024 with a bachelors in Sociology. In Sofia's free time you can find her reading by the river, playing volleyball or exploring the backcountry with some friends.
