Megan hails from southwest Colorado where she grew up hiking and skiing. Her passion for whitewater came later but hasn’t relented its hold. Besides ski instructing in the off season, Megan spends her time walking her dog (Alli, a 9 year old border collie mix), reading, and trying to kayak. As of the start of our season Megan has spent a total of 95 nights at the bottom of the Grand Canyon but only one of those in a tent, preferring to cowboy camp and stargaze. Megan started guiding in 2015 on the Arkansas River in Colorado, but will tell you it’s her first day if you ask. Megan is new to Cascade and is excited to explore a new state and river.
