Currently a resident of Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, Kenneth joined Cascade Raft & Kayak in 1994. As the company expanded, he took over the day-to-day management from the founder, Steve Jones. In addition to his rafting experience, Kenneth has been a member of the US National Canoe Slalom Team and competed in the World Championships (1997, 1999, 2015) in the double canoe class with his brother Chad. In the winter months, Kenneth travels to Chile to teach Cascade Kayak School’s adventure travel kayaking trips. Now retired from whitewater slalom racing, he applies his competitive spirit to horseback riding (English show jumping). In 2013 he earned a team and individual gold medal in the Western Regional Championships, but his most satisfying accomplishments are the few times he manages to stay ahead of even one of his three daughters. Fun fact about Kenneth: he had the singular honor of teaching Chris Farley and Matthew Perry how to canoe for the movie Almost Heroes, and stunt-doubled for Ty Pennington of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
