Kayla has spent her entire life on the banks of the Payette River and has seen it all– from inner-tube floating, to raft trips and kayaking. She has honed her skillz to be a top-level kayaker and holds a certification as a level 2 ropes course facilitator. When Kayla is not at the river she is competing around the country in Show Jumping. She also cares for and trains her own horses on her Horseshoe Bend farm. In the off-season Kayla attends Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO where she is majoring in Design Engineering with a focus in Humanitarian Engineering. She is captain of the Mines waltz club and also dances swing and tango. Kayla travels the world with her family and has spent almost every winter of her life in Chile so she is fluent in Spanish. Kayla loves to grow herbs and flowers in her hand-built greenhouse and tend her flock of chickens.
