Julian grew up in western Massachusetts, where he learned to kayak on the Deerfield River. He spent his early teenage years working in an outfitters shop and paddling all around the Northeast before moving into kayak instruction. Most of his free time is spent paddling, but he also enjoys skiing in the winter months. He came out to Idaho to enjoy all that the Payette has to offer and is excited to help others do the same.
