Jackson grew up in Western North Carolina, where his love for outdoor adventure first began. Growing up in the mountains helped him to develop his love for the outdoors including freestyle snowboarding, mountain biking, and trail running. While attending school Appalachian State University, Jackson first discovered the thrill of whitewater, falling in love with local runs including the Watauga Gorge and Wilson Creek. In the future, Jackson hopes to attend grad school! This is Jackson's first season guiding at Cascade and he is extremely stoked for the upcoming season!
