Jackson was born and raised in Boise and is no stranger to the Idaho whitewater. He grew up watching his parents love for the river and knew that’s what he wanted to do. When not on the water, he studies Environmental Sustainability and Spanish at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, where he attempts to make enough time for classes and spontaneous day trips to Sedona. Jacksons other hobbies include hiking, backpacking, listening to music and spending time on the lake. One thing he loves about rafting is the amazing community that comes along with it and he is excited to help others experience nature from the river. After college he hopes to travel and continue to experience different cultures around the world and spend as much time as he can outdoors. This will be Jacksons first year guiding with Cascade Raft and Kayak.
