Chase is from San Jose, CA in the Silicon Valley and is returning for his second year with Cascade Raft & Kayak. A student at Feather River College’s Outdoor Recreation Leadership program, he shows in his enthusiasm for the river and all things recreation. His favorite things about rafting are the people and places that it has brought into his life as well as getting completely soaked dropping into a big hole! His recent accomplishments are winning the prestigious award of Going Big on the Main in 2016, Feather River College’s Outstanding Student and Academic Award, and being his grandma’s favorite grandchild! Chase plans on pursuing education as well as traveling where the rivers take him. Fun fact: Chase loves to sing and do voices, but he isn’t very good at either.
