Nathan is a first-year guide at Cascade Raft & Kayak. He grew up in California where he swam, played water polo and was an Ocean Lifeguard from High School through College. He moved to Idaho 8 years ago to start his nursing career and to enjoy the great outdoors Idaho has to offer. He decided after 8 years as an Emergency Nurse to spend the summer on the river. If he is not on the river, you can find him riding or racing mountain bikes, climbing or in the winter, alpine or backcountry skiing. Through his time as an Ocean Lifeguard he has grown up with a deep respect and love for water and nature, many of his fondest memories revolve around water and nature and is excited to make new ones with Cascade Raft and Kayak. Prior to his life in Idaho, Nathan was racing sailboats and raced from California to Hawaii.
