Anne joined Cascade Raft & Kayak in 1995 when she drove across the country from New Hampshire to teach kayaking. She grew up racing whitewater slalom kayaks and represented the US in the Jr. World Championships in 1992 and 1994. After spending a summer in Idaho, she transferred to the College of Idaho where she earned a degree in Business Administration. Currently, she enjoys helping people find the best rafting trip and arranging all the details to make it a perfect event. In the winter months, she travels to Chile to teach kayaking for Cascade Kayak School’s adventure travel trips, follows her family to horseback riding events, and homeschools her three daughters. She dislikes sleeping outside on the ground (camping), carrying heavy things through the woods (backpacking), and has decided that a career as a long-haul trucker is not in her future. If she had any spare time, she would like to spend it quilting and writing.
