Nathan grew up in Boise and has spent most of his life around the mountains and rivers of Idaho. When he was young, he was first introduced to whitewater through Cascade Raft & Kayak. Nathan recently completed a semester of study in Chile where he went to school and gained experience in outdoor leadership. Now that he’s back, Nathan is starting his first summer safety kayaking for Cascade Raft & Kayak. Outside of the river, his main focus is competitively rock climbing for a team in Boise. Through his love of the sport, he has gone all the way to a national championship. He also coaches skiing, rides mountain bikes, and enjoys fly fishing. Nathan’s favorite thing about the outdoors is all the opportunities that they provide.
